type 1 diabetes symptoms    this is a chronic metabolic disorder in which body fails to produce insulin by autoimmune destruction of the beta cells of the islets of langrhans in the pancreas.
• also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin dependant diabetes.
•it usually affects youngs (<30y), it affects approx 5%  to 10% of people with disease.

1.which factors are responsible for type 1 diabetes?
      • genetic
      • immunologic 
      •possibily environmental 
 *genetic susceptibility is a common factor for development of type 1 diabetes.
 * environmental factor such as virus or toxins my initiate destruction of the beta cell.

2. how this affect a person?
    • because of no or less insulin production in body glucose remain in blood and cause  fasting hyperglycemia(high sugar level).

3. what is "Diabetic ketoacidosis"?
  it is a metabolic dearrangement (hyperglycemia, ketosis, metabolic acidosis) that occure more commonly with type 1 diabetes and results from insulin deficiency.
  • ketone bodies*(results from breakdown of fatty acids)are formed in body metabolic acidosis occure. breath may become fruity odour like.
 •if not treated it may lead to coma and stuper.

 4. what are symptoms of type 1 diabetes?
       3Ps : •polyuria(excessive urine)
                 •polydipsia(increase thirst)
                 •polyphagia(increase appetite)   
                 •weight loss
                 •  wounds that are slow to heal.

5.what are diagnosis?
   on the time of diagnosis autoantibodies against islets cells and internal insulin have been detected.
6. management of type 1 diabetes?
    the main goal is to regulate normal glucose level to reduce complications.
    •need external insulin for lifetime.

  • physical exercise like cardio exercises to prevent complications of heart.
  • follow diet plan to calculate calorie and carbs intake.
